Appointment Cancellations
24-Hour Notice: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Late Cancellations or No-Shows: Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed appointments will incur a cancellation fee charged to the card on file.
Payment Terms
Payment Due: Full payment is due by the end of each session, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Billing: Sessions are billed weekly. Services will cease if payment is not received by the end of the first session of the month until payment is received.
Insurance
Direct Payment: Full payment is due directly to the speech-language pathologist. Services are not covered by OHIP.
Insurance Claims: We do not accept or file insurance claims. You may seek reimbursement from your insurance company. We will provide necessary documentation for your claims.
Cancellation Details
With Prior Notice: We will reschedule your session at a mutually convenient time.
Without Prior Notice ("No Show"): You will be charged 50% of the session rate. For example, a 60-minute missed session will be charged at 50% of the hourly rate.
Therapist Cancellations: We will reschedule at a convenient time for both parties.
Late Arrivals If you arrive late, the session will end at the scheduled time, and you will be charged the full session fee.
Past Due Accounts To ensure uninterrupted service, please make timely payments. Services will be paused if accounts become past due until payment is received.
Payment Methods
Cash: Exact change required.
E-mail Transfer: Payments can be sent directly to the service provider’s email. (info@slplin.com)
Credit Card: Currently paused.
